Motorola Atrix HD at AT&T July 15 for $99.99

Motorola's Atrix HD phone will be available Sunday from AT&T for $99.99 with a two-year?contract.?

The Android phone (it comes with Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich), is Motorola's first phone that uses the company's "Circle Widget" on the home screen to connect users directly to various notifications, including weather, time, battery meter and the user's AT&T account.

Motorola says with a 4.5-inch "HD ColorBoost" display, the Atrix HD is the "highest resolution smartphone display on the market."?That display is 720-by-1,280 at 330 ppi.

The Atrix HD has?an 8-megapixel, rear-facing camera with 1080p HD video recording capabilities at 30 frames per second and zero shutter lag, says Motorola. There's also?a front-facing 720p HD camera.

The phone uses?a?1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

Motorola is also boasting about the phone's thinness, at 8.4 millimeters, but says sleekness doesn't come at the expense of strength.

"It is?made Kevlar strong for incredible stability in any situation," and the phone also has an "invisible nano-coating that acts as a splash guard ? not only on the outer shell, but on the electrical circuit boards inside, too."

In addition to the Circle Widgets, the Atrix HD comes pre-loaded with a Motorola app called SmartActions that "suggests ways to automatically change your phone's settings throughout the day to make your life easier," Motorola says:

For instance, when you place the Motorola ATRIX HD in the Vehicle Navigation Dock accessory and enable Drive Smart, it will set your phone to vehicle mode, read your text messages aloud, auto-reply to incoming calls and texts as well as provide turn-by-turn navigation. You can also set rules for when your battery gets low by enacting the Battery Extender, which can help your battery last longer by turning off GPS, disabling background sync or other features you select.

The Vehicle Dock itself is free for a "limited time" to customers who buy the Atrix HD.
